I think its time Gordon Ramsey... RETIRES. There's a new chef in town.

 Welcome to my blog,

This year at GCE has been full of surprises. Over the year, in our GCE STEAM course, we took 3 courses Water, Fuel, and Food. All three classes are connected to one another.  Water is a basic necessity required for many processes. It can be used both as a fuel, in hydroelectric plants, and fuel since water or H2O is a result of combustion. These both connect to food because of the fact that water is important and consequential in cooking as well as growing food. Fuel is also necessary for cooking and denaturing the ingredients. Another thing did in FOOD this unit was going to a farm for a FE this far was growing so many types of crops and plants. I got to meet one of the farmers her name was Hailey. She spoke to us about the seasons of how their plants are cultivated. Another thing I did in this unit was going to another farm. This was a rather intriguing FE because we learned it was rather hard for them to get things done and earn money off their crops. They don't own the land on which they grow and plant crops so at a moment's notice their lease could've been revoked. Also since they didn't legally own the land it would be illegal for them to sell their crops. Although it is rather problematic for them they still manage to plant and grow promising crops, this came with its ups and down to insure financial stability they have other farms that they grow and plant their crops on so that they had backup plans.

During this final course dubbed food, we talked a lot about the Green Revolution, and Norman Borlov. We discovered how he learned to cross breed to create stronger more resistant crops for use in countries like Mexico that were starving due to crop diseases like the rust fungi.

For AP 3 the main goal was to create a menu that presents two meals, one should have meat and the second meal should be a seed or some sort of nut dish. This AP should have all nutritional information like a real menu.   With all this in mind, we took our time in creating our own menus to make sure that specific things were taken into consideration, specifically nutrition, and the water footprint making sure to display it in a transparent and truthful way.
