Romeo and Juliet, love at first sight, or crazy lunatics.

Good afternoon and welcome to my blog, This workshop we were tasked with creating a play list for Shakespears: Romeo & Juliet. I was very maticouls when it came to choosing certain songs. Seeing as majority of the music I listen to is gospel music. Some songs I had to go through and change because, I felt like they didn't go with the act, nor the scene. This took me painstaking hours of listening to songs and looking through lyrics to make sure that I chose the right song. So I hope you enjoy my presentation.  Slideshow:  Songs:  Act 1 Scenes, 2 & 5: ”Sorry not Sorry” – Demi Lovato “And, yeah, I know how bad it must hurt to see me like this But it gets worse (Wait a minute) Now, you're out here lookin' like regret, ain't too proud to beg Second chance, you'll never get” ”If it isn’t love” – New Edition “I don't love her I tried to tell myself But you can see it in my eyes So don't deny I can't fool no one else The truth is in the tears I cry”

Where can taste take me?

Welcome to my blog,  For this AP we were tasked with doing a food critique. First, let me give you a quick rundown of what our unit was about. Unirocnly our unit was named “Death”. We started off the unit by going on an FE to Uncommon ground. This made us dig deeper into where does our food come from. We started to learn about the industrial revolution and the green revolution. The industrial revolution started in the late 1700s. This consisted of large-scale industry, mechanized manufacturing, and the factory system. New machines, one of which would’ve been the” cotton gin”. The green revolution started in the early 1950s, it consisted of t he development of high-yielding plants specifically, like wheat and rice. We then learned about Ayurveda says that 6 tastes that all foods can be: Sweet, Sour, Salty, Bitter, Pungent, and Astringent. We then went on an FE to Humboldt Park to talk to a forager, her name was Nina. We talked about how to get grounded when it comes to asking for perm

I think its time Gordon Ramsey... RETIRES. There's a new chef in town.

Welcome to my blog, This year at GCE has been full of surprises. Over the year, in our GCE STEAM course, we took 3 courses Water, Fuel, and Food. All three classes are connected to one another.    Water is a basic necessity required for many processes. It can be used both as a fuel, in hydroelectric plants, and fuel since water or H2O is a result of combustion. These both connect to food because of the fact that water is important and consequential in cooking as well as growing food. Fuel is also necessary for cooking and denaturing the ingredients. Another thing did in FOOD  this unit was going to a farm for a FE this far was growing so many types of crops and plants. I got to meet one of the farmers her name was Hailey. She spoke to us about the seasons of how their plants are cultivated. Another thing I did in this unit was going to another farm. This was a rather intriguing FE because we learned it was rather hard for them to get things done and earn money off their crops. They
